DATE: Georgian, c.1750

An 18th Century posy ring, the inscription to the inner band reads: "Remember to die." I wasn't sure if I'd read it correctly at first; these rings more often than not have a religious message, but this one doesn't. It's just cool. Dating from the mid 18th Century, circa 1750, it's modelled in 22 karat gold.
